Neurosurgeon

Multiple hospital health system regional hospital in Central PA.  360 bed facility.  Level 11 Trauma.  Certified primary stroke center.  9 ORs (expansion plans to increase to 15 ORs) with 24/7 anesthesia coverage.  New state of the art Neuro Trauma ICU.  Safe neighborhoods, lower cost of living, highly ranked schools. Scenic area offers an active lifestyle, art galleries, theatres, antique/specialty shops, with seasonal community events and cultural festivals. Low cost of living, friendly communities, and leisurely activities. Easy commute to Philly, Cleveland and Erie.

Join an expanding Neurosurgery team - focus on spine and brain conditions. Practice under the guidance of Senior Neurosurgeons and a dedicated team of Surgical APPs.  Neurodiagnostic services include EEG, and EMG.  DaVinci Robotics.  Collaborative services with interventional and neuro radiology, radiation oncology, hematology/medical oncology, cardiology, pulmonology.  Shared call requirements.  Cerner and Centricity EMRs.

Requirements:

  • BE/BC Neurosurgery
  • Spine preferable
  • Neuro trauma interest a plus!
  • PA license, or eligible

Compensation:

  • Guaranteed base salary (up to $725K)
  • Productivity incentives
  • Sign on bonus ($75k/negotiable)
