    Description

    Overview:

    This position provides direct patient care and clinical support to physicians and advanced practice providers while ensuring an efficient, patient-centered clinic experience.  The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 

    Responsibilities:
    • Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliation.
    • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
    • Assist providers during clinic visits and minor procedures.
    • Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
    • Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
    • Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, prescriptions, and provider instructions. 
    • Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies while following infection prevention and safety standards.
    • Respond professionally to patient questions and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care. 
    Qualifications:
    • Current CMA certification, LPN license, Paramedic or Surgical Tech.
    • Previous outpatient or specialty clinic experience preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills. 
    • Proficiency with EMR; experience with Epic preferred.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team -oriented environment.
    • Excellent communications skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
    • Current CPR certification
