You will join a well-resourced system with two strategically positioned campuses - a Primary Stroke Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center - supported by a 12-bed Neuro ICU, two EMUs, and a dedicated Biplane Suite. This is a program-building role designed for a physician who is ready to make a lasting clinical impact and establish themselves as a leader in an expanding market. Position Highlights
- Specialty: Neurosurgery with Endovascular focus; candidates trained in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology, or endovascular neurology alone, will be considered
- Procedure volume: 1-2 procedures per day (1 scheduled, 1 emergent); approximately 100 aneurysm cases per year
- Call schedule: Endovascular neurology call 10-15 days per month; general neurosurgery call approximately 1:4
- Procedures include: Endovascular intervention, minimally invasive spine, neurodiagnostics, nerve and muscle biopsies, and neurostimulation
- Facility capabilities: Mechanical thrombectomy, elective aneurysm center designation, designated Neurosciences Center across two campuses
- Practice setting: Hospital-employed, multi-campus health system with strong infrastructure and subspecialty support

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board eligible or board certified
- Training in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
