We are seeking an experienced Neutral Management Specialist (Paralegal) to support the review and evaluation of applications for neutral professionals. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive management-level reviews of completed application files, validating the accuracy of supporting documentation, analyzing background information, and preparing well-reasoned recommendations regarding applicant eligibility. The ideal candidate possesses strong legal research and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct management-level reviews of completed application files following initial administrative processing.
- Evaluate applicant-submitted information alongside supporting documentation, including background screening results, public records, regulatory databases, and other available sources.
- Analyze complex factual information and determine applicant eligibility based on established policies, rules, and governing standards.
- Prepare clear, well-supported recommendations for approval or denial of applications for review by an independent decision-making body.
- Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential compliance concerns and document findings thoroughly.
- Interpret applicable regulations, policies, and statutory guidance to ensure consistent application review standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve questions related to application materials and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate required; Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
- Experience conducting legal research, document analysis, and case or application reviews.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing detailed findings and recommendations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple reviews.
- Proficiency with legal research tools, public records research, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with arbitration, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, or securities-related matters is preferred but not required.
Preferred Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) with statutory interpretation experience.
- Experience reviewing professional credentialing, licensing, or application materials.
- Knowledge of securities regulation, arbitration, or alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Background supporting legal, regulatory, or compliance functions.
