Job Summary Position: New Account Manager – Industrial (Full Time)Location: CaliforniaThe role serves as the primary customer contact in developing new accounts. Works closely with Marketing to identify prospects, nurture leads, and develop strategies to win business with companies that currently do not do work with CSA Group. Responsibilities include pipeline filling through research and prospecting, defining value, and preparing proposals.Responsibilities Establish new account relationships to meet personal sales targets, emphasizing the value chain of CSA Group services.Independently prospect for new customers within assigned territory using lead generation and direct solicitation methods.Prepare written proposals of cost for services, working with Technical Specialists and Operations staff.Contact former CSA Group customers to attempt to regain work.Participate in associations and outside organizations deemed appropriate by management.Maintain a list of contacts and relationships, including supplied contacts.Provide periodic written reports on calls, proposals, quotes, expenses, travel and tradeshow activities.Evaluate industry reports, territory databases, competitive information and provide input for presentations and reporting.Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience. Prior experience with sales CRM tracking software is a plus. Proven ability to consistently exceed sales goals. Experience dealing with large organizations at senior level. Preferred experience with Industrial Equipment and Hazardous Locations Certification.Skills Clear, professional written communication and presentations.Ability to create, prepare, and execute complex business strategies while managing multiple projects.Confidentiality and independent operation.Strong initiative in developing new customer contacts.Maintaining positive internal and external relationships, follow‑up on client requests.Strong organization and time‑management.Creativity and project management for planning events and conferences.High level of initiative and motivation to meet/exceed goals with minimal supervision.Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM database applications.Ability to prepare cost proposals promptly.Responsive and pleasant when dealing with customers, peers, and co‑workers.Compensation Typical hiring range in California: $78,000–$102,000, with flexibility based on education, licenses, certifications, and experience.Equal Opportunity Statement CSA Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
