As a New Construction Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Globals commercial new construction roofing business. Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the New Construction sales team by setting clear performance expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Drive business development efforts by supporting prospecting activities, engaging with potential clients, and developing strategies to secure profitable commercial roofing projects.
Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and achievement of revenue objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, consultants, and general contractors, supporting Account Managers in strategic opportunities and negotiations.
Collaborate closely with Estimating, Preconstruction, Operations, Project Management, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure accurate proposals, smooth project transitions, and exceptional customer experiences.
Ensure consistent use of CRM systems and standardized sales processes to improve visibility, accountability, and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and support initiatives that enhance team effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Perform related duties as needed to support business operations within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
8+ years of experience in commercial roofing, construction sales, business development, or a related industry.
3+ years of sales leadership or supervisory experience.
Proven track record of managing customer relationships and achieving revenue goals.
Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, estimating processes, project delivery, and construction practices.
Experience leading sales teams, managing pipelines, forecasting, and utilizing CRM systems.
Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Operations, Estimating, and Executive Leadership teams.
