Ability

carry

Experience
in
building
and
cleaning,
minor
maintenance,
security
services
or
allied
work
Able
to
create
personable
relations
with
co-workers,
staff
and
public
Ability
to
read,
write
and
speak
clearly

accurately
in
the
English
language
Able
to
lift
up
to
100
lbs Performance Responsibilities:
Performs
daily
and
scheduled
housekeeping
duties
as
required.
Sets
up
and
shifts
furniture
and
furnishings;
washes
walls
and
ceilings;
dusts
and
polishes
furniture;
washes
windows;
strips,
sprays,
buffs,
waxes
and
polishes
floors;
washes
and
cleans
washrooms
and
disposes
of
garbage,
trash,
etc.
Operates
heating,
lighting,
ventilation
and
electrical
controls
as
specified.
Performs
minor
maintenance
repairs.
Maintains
watch
over
property
and
grounds
against
trespassing,
vandalism
and
fire
hazards.
If
necessary,
signal
police
and
fire
departments.
Operates
security
systems
and
fire
safety
systems.
Provides
assistance
to
teachers,
public
and
other
employees
as
assigned
by
the
Supervisor
of
Custodians.
Maintains
grounds
including
cutting
grass
with
hand
and
power
mowers,
collecting
litter,
trimming
bushes
and
small
trees,
raking
grounds,
and
performing
snow
removal
as
assigned.
Carries
out
other
duties
such
as
free
stopped
sanitary
and
sink
plumbing,
repair
leaks,
replace
lights
and
perform
other
related
work.
Delivers
furniture,
paper,
etc.,
as
directed.
Maintains
a
professional
and
appropriate
appearance.
Maintains
appropriate
confidentiality.
Willing
to
work
overtime
as
needed.
Assumes
other

as
may
be
assigned
from
time
to
