Night Manager (Facility Services)

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Night Manager to lead and support cleaning crews throughout the Greater Columbus market. The Night Manager supports contract compliance for designated building maintenance services and maintains the working relationship between City Wide and its janitorial cleaning crews. The Night Manager reviews client scopes of work and confirms that service expectations are met.

Essential Functions:

• Perform evening client site visits to ensure compliance with account scopes of work and company policies.
• Become an expert on the buildings and labor network in the assigned territory.
• Manage inspections, address complaints, and support new client starts to maintain high client satisfaction.
• Build strong working relationships with janitorial cleaning crews by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions.
• Communicate daily with the Facility Solutions Manager on issues needing immediate attention, including the nightly recap by email or phone.
• Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures and the proper use of approved cleaning tools and equipment.
• Coach and support cleaning crews through performance feedback, problem resolution, and ongoing training.
• Abide by the City Wide Columbus core values (Company, Client, Community, Communication, and Coaching), including a 2-hour response time for all internal communication and a 1-hour response time for all client communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in the commercial janitorial services industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English; fluency in Spanish or Portuguese highly preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented, with excellent follow-through on commitments.
• Positive, outgoing, and strong at building relationships.
• Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and Outlook email.

*Must be available for a two-week daytime training period prior to starting the evening shift role.

Physical Demands

The physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to drive at night.

Pay: $18/hr - $23/hr *based on experience*
