Non-Certified Medical Assistant CMA - Carrollton OB GYN Days

Responsible for rendering clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physician. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day to day operation of this office to ensure quality patient care. Clinical care will include patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Six months of related experience

Licenses & Certifications

• Healthcare Provider (CPR)

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital and/or other physicians required.
• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians.
• Must obtain CPR within 90 days of hire.
• Must work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
• Prior experience of performing x-rays and EKG preferred.
• Will accept time in a CMA Program, CNA program or Nursing school toward the required experience
