North America MFG Planning Manager

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Support footprint optimization studies and plant load balancing.
• Develop business cases for new investments, transfers, and vertical integration opportunities.
• Assess manufacturing risks related to customer mix, tariffs, supply chain, and capacity constraints
• Owner of make vs buy analysis, drives the implementation of vertical integration 
• Owner of cost estimation template, quote automation & digitalization
• Designated point person to OPS & regional organization with business strategy preparation 
• Coordinates the manufacturing allocation for New Product Launches
• Coordinates Cost & Budget Analysis for Manufacturing Engineering 

Qualifications:

·       Minimum 10 years experience in automotive industry preferable in electronics manufacturing with a strong understanding of processes including PCB assembly, SMT, testing, molding, and final assembly

·       Bachelor degree or similar with financial background

·       Demonstrated experience in manufacturing strategy, footprint planning, and capacity management.

·       Proven ability to develop financial business cases and evaluate capital investment opportunities.

·       Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, productivity drivers, and operational KPIs.

·       Experience managing cross-functional projects in a global manufacturing environment.

·       Understanding of government incentive programs, grants, and manufacturing investment support mechanisms.

·       Outstanding knowledge of lean concepts

·       Business fluent English
