Organization Information The mission of the Oldham Schools is to prepare students of all ages to become lifelong learners who are self sufficient, responsible and participating members of a democratic society, functioning productively in a global economy and experiencing the satisfaction of reaching their full potential. We embrace rigorous academic standards, innovation, continuous improvement and the involvement of parents and community members. We are one of the highest performing countywide school districts in Kentucky, and student academic results in our various schools compare favorably with the best schools in our state and nation. In 2010-2011 we served approximately 11,700 students at the following facilities: a preschool facility, nine elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools,an alternative school, a career center, an adult/community education center and a special center/school for the arts.
