Purpose of the Role
The Northview Students Events Assistant’s primary responsibility is to support the Environments Coordinator in the planning and execution of Northview Students events by owning assigned logistical, administrative, and operational details
MIT’s (Most Important Tasks)
Support the Environments Coordinator in the planning and execution of all Northview Students all-campus events by taking ownership of assigned logistical, administrative, and operational details.
Execute assigned event details from initial planning through completion, ensuring deadlines, communication, logistics, and follow-through are handled with excellence.
Collaborate with the Environments Coordinator and Northview Students team to ensure event details align with the established vision, strategy, experience, and environment for each event.
Coordinate effectively with internal departments, campuses, vendors, volunteers, and other partners to execute assigned event needs.
Maintain organized event systems, timelines, databases, budgets, and documentation to support successful execution and continual improvement of Northview Students events.
Essential Duties
Plan, organize, and execute all preparation details for central events/retreats
Recruit volunteers for central events/retreats
Manage details in database and run reports
Administrative tasks for Northview Students Events
Ensure safety of students by identifying and implementing appropriate risk management and training practices
Pursue regular contact and relationship building with students and their parents
Attend all Student Ministry staff Meetings, Huddles, yearly All Campus Northview Student Events, Retreats, and Family Framework Events, etc.
Strive to improve personal and professional skills by looking for and participating in learning opportunities
Performs related duties as assigned by manager
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position works with volunteers and must have an understanding that volunteers are key to the ministry of the church. The employee must have a heart to recruit, train, equip and support volunteers in fulfilling their roles.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field
3 years of related experience working with high school students at church, camp, school, or another related ministry.
Ability to effectively manage time
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives
