About the Role

As part of our evening janitorial team in Northwest Houston, youll create cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and the grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning - Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean windows, and move furniture and equipment using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
• Inventory - Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Safety - Use proper PPE where required, including hard-toe shoes, hard hat, and safety vest.
• Site Security - Open and lock facilities, and arm and disarm security systems as required.
• Additional Duties - Other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For

• 2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus, but not required.
• On-the-job training provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Experience with a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role.
• A positive attitude - in uniform, dependable, and on time.
• Respect for co-workers and customers.

Physical Demands & Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching overhead and forward.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and distinguish between cleaning products and their proper uses.

Schedule - 3 Positions Available

All shifts run 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

• Position 1 - 20 hrs/week | Works Sunday - Thursday | Off Friday & Saturday
• Position 2 - 20 hrs/week | Works Friday - Tuesday | Off Wednesday & Thursday
• Position 3 - 16 hrs/week | Works Wednesday - Saturday | Off Sunday - Tuesday

Compensation: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
