NPI Quality Engineer

• Develop, edit, and optimise CMM programs using PC-DMIS and MCOSMOS for precision-machined components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and technical documentation to define effective inspection strategies.
• Establish and utilise appropriate fixturing, tooling, and setups to ensure accurate and repeatable measurements.
• Perform detailed inspections and testing to verify compliance with customer requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R studies to validate measurement accuracy and process capability.
• Create and maintain quality documentation including Control Plans, Inspection Plans, FAI packages, and PPAP submissions.
• Ensure quality processes and documentation comply with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, operations, and quality personnel to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse quality data and identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and process control.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work environment while supporting overall operational excellence.

• 3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience using PC-DMIS is REQUIRED. This is a must-have qualification for the position.
• Experience developing and editing CMM programmes for precision machined components using PC-DMIS; experience with MCOSMOS is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, engineering drawings, and dimensional inspection methodologies.
• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred; relevant manufacturing quality experience considered.
• Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
• Proven background in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing MSA, Gage R&R, SPC analysis, and using tools such as Minitab.
• Working knowledge of FAI, PPAP, control plans, and inspection documentation.
• Supplier Quality and aerospace machining experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
