Responsible for performing patient scans under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician.
Duties include calculating radioisotope dosages for administration to patients, operating radioscopic equipment, and practicing strict radiation safety.
$10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training - Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire. Or,
National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
6 months - Experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year - Experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
