Overview
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in both diagnostic studies and therapeutic treatments and creates diagnostic images according to established standards. Provides basic patient care, processes films, maintains equipment, transports patients, and prepares and maintains documentation.

Qualifications
Education:
Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology with NMTCB Certification(or)Graduation from an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Certificate Program with NMTCB - Required
Certification & Licensures:
NMTCB and/or ARRT -RequiredBLS (American Heart Assoc.)- RequiredFingerprint Clearance Card application number- Required upon hireFingerprint Clearance Card- Required within 90 days of hireEmployee will obtain and maintain appropriate clinical competencies for the roles assigned by their departmental leader.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience as imaging technologist - preferred

Computers and other electronic devices are utilized across the organization and throughout each department.
