Nurse Manager – Cardiac Cath Lab (RN)

 An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Nurse Manager – Cardiac Cath Lab (RN) to oversee cardiovascular nursing operations in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

This is for a dynamic nursing leader to oversee a growing cardiovascular service line equipped with advanced cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology facilities. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and continuous service development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Lab (Special Procedures), and Pre/Post Procedure Holding Unit.
• Provide clinical and operational leadership to Registered Nurses and Cardiovascular Lab Technicians.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, executive leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize cardiovascular services.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, resource utilization, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental performance.
• Support the growth and advancement of cardiovascular programs while maintaining regulatory compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligible Compact State RN License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications or the ability to obtain them within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory within an acute care hospital.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a Cath Lab setting, such as Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Coordinator, or higher.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
