A large, integrated healthcare system is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead Cardiac Catheterization Lab operations at an acute-care hospital. The ideal candidate is a clinically strong cardiovascular nurse leader who can build team capability, drive quality outcomes, and manage a high-acuity procedural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab on a 24/7 basis
Manage staffing, on-call scheduling, and resource planning for a high-volume cath lab
Lead, coach, and develop cath lab nursing and tech staff through performance management and mentorship
Monitor and drive quality metrics, patient safety outcomes, and infection control compliance
Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and ancillary teams to optimize procedural throughput
Oversee departmental budget, supply utilization, and equipment maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with TJC, state, and cardiovascular accreditation standards
Requirements
Active RN license in Oregon (or compact licensure eligible)
BSN required; MSN preferred
3+ years of Cath Lab or cardiovascular nursing clinical experience
1+ years of nursing leadership, charge, or supervisory experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
RCIS or cardiovascular nursing certification (CMC, CSC)
Experience with EP lab or hybrid OR environments
MSN or graduate degree in nursing or healthcare administration
Familiarity with cath lab information systems and Epic
