Annual Salary Range: $147,721 - $221,603

At PeaceHealth, we believe exceptional patient care begins with exceptional leadership. We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our highly respected 14-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.

As Nurse Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations and long-term success of our inpatient rehabilitation unit, guiding caregivers in delivering outstanding care while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation. You'll partner with interdisciplinary leaders, physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to advance quality outcomes, patient experience, workforce development, and operational performance.

Our rehabilitation program has a longstanding reputation for excellence, including:

  • CARF Accredited since 1996
  • CARF Stroke Specialty Program designation since 2005
  • Level II Trauma Rehabilitation designation
  • Established inpatient rehabilitation program serving the region since 1993
  • Specialized rehabilitation medicine and brain injury expertise
  • Strong collaboration among rehabilitation physicians, nursing teams, case management, and rehabilitation therapists
  • Comprehensive, individualized treatment plans designed to maximize patient recovery and independence

What You'll Do

As the Nurse Manager, you will:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for 24-hour nursing operations
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop nursing caregivers
  • Drive staff engagement, recruitment, retention, and professional growth
  • Ensure exceptional patient outcomes through evidence-based nursing practice
  • Oversee staffing plans and allocation of resources to support safe, quality care
  • Monitor and improve operational, quality, and service metrics
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to professional nursing standards
  • Support department strategic initiatives and organizational goals
  • Manage departmental budgets and financial performance
  • Foster strong interdisciplinary partnerships across the medical center
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, belonging, and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
  • Progressive leadership responsibilities, such as charge nurse or supervisory experience
  • Financial and budget management knowledge and experience
