    Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community. As a not-for-profit, full-service, 318-bed community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, obstetric, oncology and orthopaedic treatment, intensive care, skilled nursing inpatient services and a state-of-the-art 24-hour emergency department. Sibley's campus is also home to Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and The Johns Hopkins National Proton Therapy Center.

    What You Will Do:

    The Nurse Manager of our Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for achieving unit, departmental, and organizational goals through effective management of clinical operations, staff development, and performance improvement initiatives. She/he will foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, engagement, and professional growth.

    Who Should Apply:

    • Master of Nursing (MSN) (Required). Applicants with a Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Master's of Nursing (MSN) program. One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
    • Minimum of 7 Years of Experience in clinical nursing (Required); nursing experience in Interventional Radiology strongly preferred; registered nursing or nursing leadership experience preferred.
    • Previous clinical management experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience navigating rapidly changing situations, from evolving patient needs to technological advancements, by remaining flexible, continuously learning, embracing new challenges, and quickly recovering from setbacks.
    • Current District of Columbia RN license required.
    • Current CPR certification required.

    Salary Range: Minimum 63.31/hour - Maximum 98.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
