Primary Purpose: Direct, coordinate, and work cooperatively with the Medical Director and agency staff in the operational management of the residential programs. Manage, supervise, and evaluate medical subordinate staff. Interprets and meets regulatory program qualifications as defined by the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and other regulatory agencies.
Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate, NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Q.H.P. required, and CPR certification.
Education Requirements: Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field; or degree in Substance Abuse Counseling.
Experience Requirements: Must have a minimum of five years nursing experience, and three years progressive supervisory or related experience. Must have experience in the field of alcoholism and substance abuse.
