    About the Role
    This Nurse Manager position provides 24/7 leadership and operational management for a large, multidisciplinary L&D department, overseeing clinical care, staffing, quality, and patient outcomes in alignment with the organization's values.

    Unit Overview:

    • 30 Labor Beds
    • 9-Bed OB ED
    • 4 OB ORs
    • 550-600 Births/Month (Deliveries start at 22-23 weeks gestation)
    • Level IV NICU with 77 Beds
    • 24/7 Support: Anesthesia, Laborists, Neonatology
    • Integrated Services: MFM, Midwifery, OB, Family Medicine
    • Programs: TEAMBirth, Cultural Navigators, Addiction Recovery for Pregnant/Postpartum Patients

    Top Priorities:

    • Enhance Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) culture for staff and patients
    • Improve key quality metrics (e.g., NTSV) through RN-led initiatives
    • Lead evidence-based practice changes alongside CNS and Perinatal Educators
    • Recruit and retain experienced RNs and residency/fellowship candidates
    • Collaborate with the Senior Nurse Manager and Clinical Supervisor in shared leadership

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or ADN with BSN commitment within 2 years)
    • Active WA RN License & AHA BLS Certification
    • 3+ years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
    • Prior supervisory, charge, or management experience in L&D

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
    • 1 year of first-line management experience
