About the Role:Oakwayne Medical Center in Westland, MI is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing healthcare team. Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and health histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across a diverse patient population
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Prescribe medications and manage pharmacological treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and wellness
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system
Requirements:- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Michigan
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
- Current board certification (FNP-C, ANP-C, or relevant specialty certification)
- Active DEA license and prescriptive authority in Michigan
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and diagnostic skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered bedside manner
