We are currently seeking a compassionate and driven Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established Gastroenterology practice in Bakersfield, California. Position Overview:
Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule
No weekends required
No call responsibilities
Outpatient clinic-only setting
Competitive salary starting around $140,000 (negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality outpatient care for gastroenterology patients under physician supervision
Perform patient assessments including histories and physical examinations
Diagnose and manage a variety of gastrointestinal conditions in a clinic setting
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Educate patients on GI conditions, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle recommendations
Candidate Requirements:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of California
Spanish-speaking preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in an outpatient specialty clinic environment
Gastroenterology experience is a plus but not required—willing to train motivated candidates
