Join Our Dynamic Surgical Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant General Surgery!

We are seeking skilled Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to support our busy General Surgery department in Santa Rosa. Required Skills:
Active California NP or PA license, with a current CA DEA registration
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)
Minimum of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off availability, with flexibility for longer rotations
Proven experience in general surgery (PA-C experience required; NPs must hold ACNP credential and be nationally certified)
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a surgical team
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in hospital or surgical settings
Familiarity with surgical case logs and privileging processes
Knowledge of hospital documentation and electronic medical records
CPR instructor certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in general surgery
Recent hospital-based surgical practice preferred
Other Requirements:
Valid California medical license and DEA license
Pass a clean file review (providers with flagged issues may not be considered)
Willingness to assist with travel reimbursements, including airport parking and local transportation arrangements
Updated CV with hospital affiliations and current case logs
Available to start on June 1, 2026, for a minimum of three months
