Required Skills:
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with Neonatal or Pediatric certification
Proven ability to perform newborn and NICU assessments
Expertise in diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic neonatal conditions
Proficiency in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
Skilled in invasive procedures such as line placements when credentialed
Strong communication skills for educating and supporting families
Ability to collaborate effectively with neonatologists and interdisciplinary care teams
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Prior experience in high-volume NICU settings
Bilingual abilities to communicate with diverse patient families
Preferred Education and Experience:
Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
Minimum of 2 years of NICU or neonatal care experience
Credentialed in Neonatal Advanced Practice Nursing
Other Requirements:
Availability for on-site schedule from 2:00-2:30 pm to 8:00-8:30 am, including on-call responsibilities
Ability to perform invasive procedures when trained and credentialed
Willingness to comply with hospital policies, licensure, and certification standards
Travel or other reimbursements applicable as needed
