Nurse Practitioner - Neurology

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join Tanner Neurology.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and assess neurological symptoms.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with neurological conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with neurologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and promote positive clinical outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team regarding treatment plans and follow-up recommendations.

Job Eligibility Requirements

Education & Licensure          

• Requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a master’s degree in nursing.
• Active GA APRN license or meet criteria for obtaining licensure.

Experience

• A minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience required.
• Neurology experience preferred; candidates with a strong interest in outpatient neurological care are encouraged to apply.

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Location: Tanner Neurology, Carrollton, Georgia
• Practice Setting: Outpatient neurology clinic
