What You Will Be Doing
  • Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, arranging diagnostic exams, and developing personalized care plans
  • Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues through collaboration with physicians or independently (as per credentialing)
  • Empowering patients and families with knowledge on wellness, preventive care, and managing health conditions
  • Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in alignment with your practice scope
  • Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively
  • Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive care
  • Maintaining meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Education Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Certifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure for the state of Indiana
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to complete within 90 days)
