Administering and documenting oral medications, eye medications, topical medications, suppository medications, ear drops, insulin injections, and all others as ordered by the physician (this does not include INJECTION medications or injection of concentrated insulin equal to or greater in strength or activity than a U-500 insulin as this is outside the scope of the QMA-I’s practice). Performing treatments on minor skin conditions (i.e., dermatitis, scabies, Pediculosis, fungal-infection, psoriasis, eczema, first-degree burn, stage one decubitus ulcers) per physician orders.
