Job Description
An occupational health event provider is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a one-day assignment in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role involves performing Human Performance Exams and clearance evaluations in a fast-paced screening environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Wednesday, Sept 9th
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Setting: On-site, hotel/resort
Responsibilities:
- Perform Human Performance Exams, including functional movement and musculoskeletal stability assessments
- Evaluate lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling capabilities
- Review range of motion, strength, endurance, and potential medical limitations
- Provide medical clearance determinations based on clinical findings and physical demand requirements
- Complete focused physical exams, health screenings, and timely documentation while supporting onsite workflow
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Experience making clinical clearance decisions and assessing functional capacity for job-specific tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume screening setting
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and decision-making skills
- Reliability and availability to commit to the full shift
Desired Skills:
Experience in occupational health, urgent care, employee health, or pre-employment screenings
