Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Onsite Employer Health Clinic (Contract) – $100/hr

Location: Winchester, VA (on-site)
Pay: $100 per hour
Job Type: Contract (through April 30, 2027, with possible extension or conversion to a permanent role)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | No nights, no weekends, no on-call

About the Opportunity

KMG Healthcare is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for a contract position at an onsite employer health center in Winchester, Virginia. Our client is a national leader in workplace healthcare. The contract runs through April 30, 2027, and could be extended or become a permanent role. You’ll care for a defined population of client employees in a modern, well-supported clinic, with a steady weekday schedule and a manageable patient load. The setting blends primary care, acute care and occupational health.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct physical exams, preventive screenings, and health maintenance visits
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe and recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
• Develop care plans, coordinate follow-up, and refer to specialists as needed
• Educate patients on treatment plans and wellness
• Collaborate with physicians and the onsite care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Virginia Nurse Practitioner license and RN license
• National board certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Active federal DEA registration
• Master’s degree (MSN) or higher in nursing
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC); ACLS may be required
• At least 3 years of NP experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency medicine

Preferred

• Occupational health experience (work injuries, DOT/pre-employment physicals, OSHA familiarity)
• Comfort working independently in a small clinic team
