Nurse Practitioner – PM&R / Physiatry

Their clinical team works closely with rehabilitation professionals to help patients improve mobility, recover from complex medical conditions, and regain independence.

The Position: Our client is looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to provide physiatry and pain management services within skilled nursing facilities in the Winchester, Virginia area.

• Full-Time W2 Employee
• $110,000 – $160,000 Annually
• Flexible 8-Hour Shifts
• Typical Schedule: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekdays Only
• No Evenings or Weekends Required

Requirements:

• Active NP License in Virginia
• Experience in PM&R/Physiatry, Pain Management, Geriatrics, or Post-Acute Care Preferred
• Strong Clinical Judgment
• Ability to Work Independently
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Collaborative Mindset

Responsibilities:

• Provide On-Site Physiatry and Pain Management Services at Skilled Nursing Facilities
• Evaluate Patients and Develop Individualized Care Plans
• Manage Patients With Pain, Spasticity, and Functional Limitations
• Develop Treatment Plans Focused on Mobility and Recovery
• Treat Patients Recovering From Stroke, Surgery, and Complex Medical Conditions
• Consult With Rehabilitation Teams and Collaborate With PT/OT/ST
• Coordinate Care With Interdisciplinary Teams
• Focus on Improving Functional Outcomes and Reducing Rehospitalizations
• Provide Patient-Centered Care Focused on Functional Recovery and Independence
• Work a Predictable Weekday Schedule With No Required Evenings or Weekends
