About the Role: Join Druid Hills Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, where you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate and comprehensive healthcare to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care in the heart of Atlanta, GA. We do general primary care and also focus on HIV treatment, prevention, and gender affirming care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care audits.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
