Join a Growing Primary Care Team

A well-established hospital system in Wakefield, Rhode Island is expanding its outpatient primary care services and is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its growing team. This opportunity is available due to the opening of a new clinic, providing an excellent chance to become part of a collaborative and patient-focused organization.

You'll work alongside a team of approximately 15 Primary Care Physicians across four clinic locations affiliated with the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients ages 12 and older
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform routine wellness visits and preventive care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Schedule & Call

  • Outpatient clinic setting
  • Average 20–25 patients per day
  • Shared call rotation: 1:8

Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum 5 years of Primary Care experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000 annually
