Nurse Practitioner

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our clinical team. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the FNP provides high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role plays a vital part in promoting patient health, supporting recovery, and advancing RCA's mission to save lives through comprehensive addiction and mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and document comprehensive medical assessments, histories, and physical exams
• Diagnose and treat patients, recommending appropriate lab tests, imaging, and medical interventions
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe and effective patient care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and recovery plans
• Participate in treatment planning, care coordination, and discharge planning
• Ensure all documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing and current State Nurse Practitioner License
• Registered Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required
• 5-7 years of nursing experience; substance use treatment experience preferred
• Strong understanding of addiction medicine, co-occurring disorders, and detoxification protocols
• Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
• Proficient with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office Suite
