Summary The Nursing Supervisor manages and coordinates the overall activities of nursing personnel on assigned shift to assure both the quality of care and continuity of care provided. This position manages and coordinates the care of neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in compliance with the established Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC) policies, procedures, and regulatory agency standards. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN, or BA in a healthcare related field, preferred Current licensure in the state of Ohio Demonstrates supervisory and management skills as they relate to the practice of nursing. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Required Length and Type of Experience Four years or more of clinical experience in a hospital setting required. Management experience within a healthcare facility, preferred.
