    Nurse Supervisor (RN)

    Part-Time Regular ( Every Fridays and Every other Weekends)

    Responsibilities/Accountabilities

    We have an amazing opportunity for a Nursing Supervisor that is:

    Responsible for the direct supervision of nursing care

    Assures that residents receive the care that has been identified to meet their health care needs

    Ensures that policies and procedures of the nursing department are followed by nursing staff

    Person in charge of the entire facility in the absence of senior management staff

    Experience/Skills/Education

    Required:

    Current unencumbered RN license

    CPR certification

    Five years of experience in a long-term care facility

    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential

    Knowledge and experience related to the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the elderly

    Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

    Knowledge of current nursing techniques, federal and state nursing home regulations, and experience in regulatory surveys, resident assessments, and recertification

    Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other computer skills

    Preferred:

    One year of supervisory experience preferred
