Nursery Yard Sales

A well-established nursery is seeking a Yard Sales Representative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working outdoors, building customer relationships, and helping landscape contractors, municipalities, garden centers, and commercial clients find the right plant materials for their projects.

This position combines customer service, plant knowledge, inventory coordination, and sales support in a fast-paced nursery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with plant selection, availability, and product recommendations
• Develop and maintain relationships with landscape contractors, municipalities, and commercial customers
• Conduct walk-throughs of nursery inventory with customers
• Coordinate order fulfillment, loading schedules, and customer pickups
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate availability updates
• Ensure plant material is properly displayed, organized, and maintained
• Work closely with production and operations teams to meet customer needs
• Help identify new sales opportunities and expand existing accounts

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery, horticulture, landscaping, greenhouse, agronomy, agriculture, or related industries preferred
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, or ornamental plants is highly desired
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or loaders is a plus
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
