Job Description
Adjunct faculty position teaching in clinical or laboratory courses working with undergraduate students in a BSN nursing program. Clinical/lab teaching could include medical/surgical, mental health, public health, maternal health, and pediatric nursing dependent on current needs of the program.
At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2 or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department.
What you'll do
Teach in clinical settings per specialty area
Teach in the nursing skills and simulation labs
Evaluate students in clinical and/or skills, including performance exams
Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance diversity and inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline
Attend scheduled teaching team meetings

Experience
A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in specialty area.
Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset.
Education
Required:
Master’s degree in Nursing
Current Minnesota RN Licensure or eligibility
Clinical practice experience in specialty area
Compensation
We pay $1,250 per credit hour for in-person courses.
