Schedule: | 5x8, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM |
Contract : 13 Weeks
Summary / Duties:
The Nursing Assistant - Clinic Aide provides routine direct patient care and clinical support in Sacramento. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with nutrition, hygiene, elimination, and mobility needs, collecting specimens, and supporting admission, transfer, and discharge workflows. The role may assist with dialysis machine setup and disinfection, maintain clean and safe equipment, and document patient care accurately in electronic health records. The Clinic Aide explains procedures clearly to patients, protects confidential health information, follows established safety and regulatory requirements, and reports equipment issues as needed. This position also supports team workflows, prioritizes routine and urgent tasks, and may help orient or mentor students and new Nursing Assistants.
Mandatory Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience required working as Nursing Assistant
Requirements:
BLS
Proficiency in fundamental patient-care techniques, standard clinical procedures, and routine medical equipment
Experience with direct patient care, including vital signs and basic nutrition, hygiene, elimination, and mobility support
