We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Nursing Manager to join our leadership team and help guide oncology nursing services across our Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley centers. In this position, you'll support and develop our nursing team, ensure high-quality patient care, and work closely with physicians and leadership to continuously improve processes and programs. Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to RNs and CMAs across both centers. Oversee nursing operations and quality initiatives. Review and enhance oncology nursing programs and policies. Develop and maintain nursing quality assurance processes. Participate in Safety Committee meetings, Radiation Safety meetings, and chart rounds. Monitor department workflow, staffing schedules, and supply inventory. Support patient education, navigation initiatives, and coordination of supportive resources. Address patient and staff concerns, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Partner with leadership on recruitment, performance management, and operational planning.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Active, unencumbered Alaska RN license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Moderate Sedation certification. Oncology certification (OCN, ACON, or CPON) or ability to obtain within two years. 2+ year RN experience in a specialty clinic. 2+ year supervisory or lead experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Leadership role in a specialty oncology clinic setting. Frequent collaboration with physicians, therapists, and administrative leadership. Travel between Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley centers required. Potential exposure to radiation and clinical materials. Physical requirements: standing and walking throughout the day, lifting up to 50 lbs, assisting patients as needed.
