Job Profile Summary
The Enterprise Solutions Architect will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge technology solutions that leverage NVIDIAs hardware and software ecosystem and cloud-native and hybrid architectures to transform Retail and CPG business operations. This role will serve as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and implementation teams, translating complex business challenges into scalable architectural solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in NVIDIA technologies and platforms, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and a strong understanding of the Retail and CPG industrys digital transformation needs, as well as the existing landscape of enterprise systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture
- Architect and deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities in the Retail and CPG sectors
- Leverage the full spectrum of NVIDIA’s technologies (Omniverse, Metropolis, AI/ML, CUDA, TensorRT, Jetson, etc.) to develop scalable, high-performance systems
- Architect solutions that integrate on-premise systems with cloud-based services from major CSPs (Azure, AWS, GCP), considering factors such as scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness
- Create and maintain architectural artifacts, including solution design documents, diagrams, and presentations
- Define solution roadmaps that consider both short-term and long-term business objectives
Client Engagement and Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on technology strategy, solution architecture, and best practices
- Identify and understand clients business challenges, technical requirements, and constraints
- Lead architectural discussions with senior stakeholders, presenting complex technical concepts in business-relevant terms
- Conduct workshops and presentations to articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions and demonstrate their capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and technical decision-makers
- Serve as a subject matter expert for GPU-accelerated computing and edge AI/ML workloads within retail environments
Collaboration and Delivery
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute strategies for complex solutions
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including RFPs/RFIs, and demonstrations
- Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions and guide full-scale implementations, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions, providing architectural guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with other architects, engineers, and specialists to ensure solution alignment and integration
- Collaborate, mentor, and coach solution and technical architects within the broader technology organization
Technology Leadership and Innovation
- Stay ahead of emerging technology trends and propose innovative solutions to keep the enterprise technologically competitive
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and approaches to improve solution effectiveness and efficiency
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to create competitive advantages for clients
- Contribute to the development of reusable solution patterns, frameworks, and methodologies to serve our clients better
Preferred Competencies & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on solution architecture and enterprise architecture
- Deep understanding of Retail and CPG industry dynamics, including omnichannel commerce, supply chain, in-store operations, and customer analytics
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level solutions leveraging AI/ML, digital twins, simulation and optimization, and computer vision capabilities within commercial retail environments
- Expertise in the NVIDIA ecosystem, including GPUs, AI/ML platforms (e.g., NVIDIA AI Enterprise), Omniverse, etc.
- Experience in enterprise cloud architecture, cloud-native applications, containers (Kubernetes, Docker), and hybrid deployments
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database technologies
- Familiarity with data engineering and MLOps pipelines
- Expertise in security, identity management, compliance, and governance in hybrid IT environments
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and presentations
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus among stakeholders
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA and software frameworks is highly valued
- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) with specific emphasis on architectures suited to utility-scale data volumes, real-time telemetry, and OT integration
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design with an understanding of how these apply in hybrid OT/IT environments
- Familiarity with industry-standard grid simulation, power systems analysis, and engineering toolchains, both open-source and commercially established, and how they integrate with NVIDIA-accelerated compute environments
- Expertise in security, identity management, compliance, and governance in hybrid IT/OT environments
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud certifications, NVIDIA certifications) are highly desirable

Final compensation within this range will be determined based on some factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, budget, and market conditions.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $129,000 – $203,000 annually, in line with our internal compensation framework and budget allocation for the role. Most candidates are offered a salary within this disclosed range. If the role is eligible for a variable pay plan, this would be considered separately and may provide additional earnings beyond the base salary range reflected here.
