About the position:
Full-time academic faculty physician position in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Opportunity to join the core faculty team in an academic and clinical environment
Role focused on teaching the next generation of physicians, including residents and medical students
Participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other educational activities
Involvement in the departments clinical care, research, and teaching missions
Supervision and education of medical students and residents in multiple clinical settings, including:
Inpatient services
Labor & Delivery
Operating Room
Outpatient clinics
Opportunities to collaborate with colleagues engaged in local, regional, and national healthcare access initiatives
Participation in a department with externally funded research programs
Opportunities to engage in basic science research, including work related to hypertensive diseases in pregnancy
Access to a cadaveric surgical training facility used for OB/GYN resident and student education
Involvement in quality improvement initiatives across inpatient and outpatient care settings
Background Profile: OB/GYN Faculty
MD, DO, or MBBS degree
Completion of a 4-year OB/GYN residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Federally issued DEA license
Board-eligible candidates must obtain board certification as soon as feasible
