Board Certified Occupational Medicine Physician / Pain Management Physician | Clovis, CA
WellTech Partners is partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary Pain and Rehabilitation Group in California seeking a Board Certified Occupational Medicine Physician or Pain Management/Internal Medicine physician to join their Clovis-based team. This is a permanent opportunity with flexibility to start part-time, transitioning to full-time based on fit.
This is a highly collaborative, outpatient role focused on chronic pain management, functional restoration, and workers' compensation care within an established multidisciplinary program.
Position Overview
Setting: Outpatient Pain & Rehabilitation / Occupational Medicine
Schedule: Monday–Friday (no nights, weekends, or holidays)
Hours: Standard business hours
Location: Clovis, CA (future expansion to Visalia & Bakersfield)
Start Date: As soon as the best candidate is identified
Compensation: $300,000 – $500,000 annually (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain and work-related injuries
Provide functional assessments, treatment planning, and impairment documentation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (pain, neuro, behavioral health, PT/OT)
Communicate with external stakeholders including attorneys, employers, and case managers
Participate in a structured, specialized training model for workers' compensation care
Focus on long-term functional outcomes and return-to-work planning
Top Candidate Profile
Board Certified/Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Pain Management, Internal Medicine, or related field
Active or eligible California medical license
Experience in Occupational Medicine or Pain Management preferred
Willingness to learn workers' compensation systems and a unique chronic care model
Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
Comfortable working independently in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Preference for candidates living in or relocating to the Central Valley region (non-commutable roles are not ideal)
