As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients gain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide hands-on therapy and support to patients across various healthcare settings. Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence in daily activities
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist regarding treatment plans and outcomes
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Requirements: - Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Experience working with pediatric patients - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Pay: 42+/hour, up to 10-15 hours per week
