Develop Individualized Supports: Collaborate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to develop measurable goals and evidence-based interventions that support students’ access, participation, and independence.
Deliver Meaningful Therapy: Provide occupational therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals and supervise appropriately licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when assigned.
Monitor Student Progress: Maintain accurate service records, document progress toward goals, and use data to guide recommendations and adjustments to interventions.
Partner With Families and School Teams: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to support coordinated services.

Licensure: An active Texas Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE).
Certification: Current CPR certification.
Collaborative Approach: Clear communication, thoughtful documentation, and a commitment to working with students, families, and school teams.
