Occupational Therapist (OT) – Department Lead
Behavioral Family Solutions (BFS) is an established ABA company serving hundreds of families throughout South Florida. We are excited to expand our multidisciplinary services and are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to develop and lead our new Occupational Therapy Department.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping children thrive while building and shaping a department from the ground up within an established and rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee the Occupational Therapy Department
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric clients
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, speech therapists, caregivers, and other professionals
• Supervise and support future OT staff as the department expands
• Ensure compliance with all documentation, ethical, and licensing requirements
• Assist in developing department procedures, scheduling, and service delivery systems
Qualifications:
• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for building and growing a pediatric therapy program
