Responsibilities:

LEARN Academy/Learn It Academic Services is looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our IDEA Evaluation Team. Testing will take place in-person. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need. 

 

In this position, you would be a part of an educational team consisting of a supervisor, educators, and fellow OTs. This team works with the School District of Philadelphia to deliver the highest-quality speech therapy to students who qualify. As an OT you will work closely with school personnel and parents. 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication abilities in areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, and expressive and receptive language.
• Collaborate with the special education team to ensure occupational threapy services align with the least restrictive environment (LRE) principle.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
• Current PA State Licensure
