Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time Clinic Position

Preferred Practice Therapy is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly motivated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our clinic-based team in Gardena.

Position Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations

  • Develop individualized, functional treatment plans

  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in the clinic

  • Address fine-motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care skills, coordination, attention, and functional participation

  • Establish measurable goals based on each child’s needs and family priorities

  • Complete treatment documentation and progress reports accurately and on time

  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and home recommendations

  • Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, assistants, physicians, regional centers, and other professionals involved in the child’s care

  • Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards

  • Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented clinical environment

Qualifications


  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for California licensure

  • NBCOT certification

  • Current CPR certification

  • Pediatric clinical experience preferred

  • Knowledge of pediatric development, sensory processing, fine-motor development, and activities of daily living

  • Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills

  • Reliable, professional, and committed to providing consistent care

  • New graduates with strong pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply
