A well-established and growing healthcare organization located in Bronx, New York is seeking to immediately hire a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its dedicated outpatient team in Astoria, Queens. This is an excellent full-time opportunity with a rewarding salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans,
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs),
- Treat patients recovering from injury, surgery, and neurological or orthopedic conditions,
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams,
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies,
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards, and
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive outpatient environment.
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program,
- Active New York State Occupational Therapist license,
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. - A minimum of 6 months of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (pediatric or adult experience welcomed),
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
